With more than 40 years of experience in the HVAC industry and over 20 years of experience as an Indoor Air Quality professional, Steve is able to provide unique consulting services from those two perspectives. 

Steve has worked with many custom builders in the Boston area providing services such as:

Steve often recommends HVAC products that are featured in his book, Healthy Harmless Home, to help insure that the newly constructed and remodeled homes are as healthy as possible for the new homeowners.


Steve also uses his expertise to provide coaching services and teach training classes for organizations like NORMI (National Organization of Remediators & Microbial Inspectors.

Steven Hergott, a descendant of German immigrants, was born and raised in New York City and now lives in Dover, New Hampshire. He holds degrees in both civil and environmental engineering. Steve has worked in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry since 1980 as a sales professional, consultant, trainer and business owner.
